For the PB fans, I’ll try to post more frequently, so we’re not strangers. This morning’s commute included rolling the ST1300 over 196,000 miles. Also today, finalized plans to head to Budd’s Creek for motocross next weekend. A fine two-wheel day indeed, and the sun’s barely up.

Hexnut halts!
Finally back on the farm in old Virginia. Ride from Chattanooga to Bristol on the super slab (interstate) then returned the way I left, US58, the crooked music road. Time for rest. Bike cleaning can happen tomorrow. Enjoy today’s image capture
Super slab
I’m not quite home yet. Rode the super slab up from Texas to Chattanooga today. No runs, no hits, no errors. 0430 cst until 5 pm est. got a room right before the rains started. I took a few pix to document the day… Harv
They call me big papa
I enjoyed an evening and then a luncheon with my sons and their families. A good time was had by all. I’m recharged. Headed back to EST tomorrow. Harv
It’s on the way!
It took me 5.5 hours to get to G-Paw’s house in Newton County, Tx. I unpacked the Super Ten as the fish were beginning to fry. Aunt n Uncle showed up, as well as my siblings, kids and grands. Nothing to do with motorcycling really, it’s the primary secondary impetus for my July travels. StayingContinue reading “It’s on the way!”
Hexnut heads (south)east
Everyone knows the trip is not done until all the travelers are home. I’m headed back to old Va via SETX. I left Blue River, Co just before 4 mst or 5 am Texas Time. It was about 46F. Heated gear and insulated gloves were perfect. Also perfect… the Super Ten’s super bright Denali lights.Continue reading “Hexnut heads (south)east”

We got moving by 0730 with temps in the mid 40’s, rode down to Buena Vista,Continue reading “The Pinnacle, literally”
Fun times
Whatever day we are in… we are all gathering in Blue River CO. Steve trucked his bike over. Dangerous Dan and I did a little bit of BDR and found it a bit slippery so we minimized and headed on to the gathering spot. A couple of hours later and the gangs all here. IContinue reading “Fun times”
Crème de la crème
What a day today!! We started by opening up the visitor center at the Four Corner monument. It’s a splendid sight! Then we went to the valley of the gods, riding 15 miles in an hour or so before connecting with Moki Dugway. The Dugway ran up up a rock face, about 1.5 lanes wideContinue reading “Crème de la crème”
Days running together…
We started the day on the old Santa Fe trail. Made quick work of it and crossed into Colorado and MST by 0730. A little after 0900 we caught our first glimpse of the mountains and we were drawn like moths to the flame. The straight roads soon twisted up and the riding excelled. WolfContinue reading “Days running together…”
