What a day today!! We started by opening up the visitor center at the Four Corner monument. It’s a splendid sight!
Then we went to the valley of the gods, riding 15 miles in an hour or so before connecting with Moki Dugway. The Dugway ran up up a rock face, about 1.5 lanes wide and guardrail free. The two together topped off the most righteous morning.
After lunch, we had to formulate a plan around forest fires and blazing temps to get to our next destination. A detour of about 2 hours got us in at a reasonable hour.
A fine Italian dinner later and we are ready for slumber. Keep the rubber side down!!
