Over the water and under the water

Leg 2 is done, finding us in Springfield Mo. today we crossed the Ohio and Mississippi rivers at fort Defiance and stopped for a photo op. Weather and traffic cooperated and we knocked out 550 miles in 12 hours. We closed the day at the American Legion post where the sail from my first submarine is located. I have the post photos from the subs decom ceremony that I presented as a gift and they treated us like family.

It was a good day.
